The Add Variable Watch form allows for configuration of an SNMP variable watch item.
Agent List
Contains the list of agents from the Discovered Devices list. Selecting one of the configured agents will automatically use that agent's current SNMP settings when sending the query.

Variable Field
The instance identifier (IID) of the variable to be monitored.

Interval
This field specifies how often the PowerSNMP Network Manager will query the watch item.

Enable Limit Check
Checking this "If value is" checkbox enables the entry fields that specify the limit at which a warning will be raised.

Condition List
Dropdown next to "If value is". Defines the condition used to determine if an agent's variable is outside the specified range. Possible choices are Less than, Greater than, Equal to, and Not Equal to.

Value Field
The value is used in conjunction with the Condition to determine if an agent's variable is outside of the specified limit.

Send Email Check
When checked, if the agent's variable value is outside of the specified limit, an email will be sent to the address defined in the manager configuration.

Add
Adds the configured watch item to the Watch Item Window. This button is disabled if no agent is selected.
|
Cancel
Dismisses the dialog box without making any changes.
