The variables in the watch window are polled for their value from the specified snmp agent using the SNMP parameters specified in the Add Variable Watch window and the Properties window for the watch.

 

Variable Watches list the value of the added variable at the agent address specified.

 

Ping Watches lists the response time for a ping to the host at the address specified.

 

Traps are not polled but are updated when the specified trap is received.
