Progress Event

Description

Fires when a method has completed, the server has sent a reply, or progress information is available.

Indicates the method that the event pertains to.

Status

Value	Description
popBad	The server has responded with a negative status.
popContent	Indicates intermediate events during the receipt of a mail message. Useful for percentage indication on a status display.
popCount	The Count property has been updated.
popDeleting	Indicates a message delete has been acknowledged.
popInfo	The server has supplied information.
popOk	The method has completed with a positive status.
popPreview	Retrieval of a complete message header plus preview lines.
popSize	The message Size property has been updated.
popUidl	Retrieval of a message UID label.

Indicates the Status of the method.

Reply

Contains the server reply related to the status.

MessageNumber

Indicates the server-side message the event pertains to. Matches the message's Attribute(msgNumber) property.

Count

Indicates the number of bytes that have transferred (so far) for the transfer that is currently in progress. The value normally falls between 0 and Size. Only valid when Status is popContent, and is 0 at other times.

Size

Indicates the total number of bytes for the message transfer currently in progress. Value is constant during any single transfer. Only valid when Status is popContent, and is 0 at other times.

Remarks

Use the Trace method to gather protocol-level data if the Reply parameter is inadequate.
