Indicates whether IP/SYNC (Interrupt Process and Synch) bytes are sent with the ABOR command.

Remarks

The default value is False.

The IP/SYNC bytes are never sent to proxies or over a secure channel.

When receiving a file or a listing, and Abort is used to abort the transfer, some servers require the IP/SYNC signal (4 bytes) be sent with the ABOR. This behavior causes unintended side-effects when Windows Firewall is in use. By setting this property to true, direct connections to HP/UX servers and other specific FTP servers will operate better when the ABOR command is sent.
