ReadToCount Method




The byte array used to store the received data.
The position in the buffer to store the data.
The number of byte to read.
Read until count bytes are read, an exception is thrown, or the connection is closed.

Parameters

buffer
The byte array used to store the received data.
offset
The position in the buffer to store the data.
count
The number of byte to read.

Return Value

A Data object encapsulating the received data.
Exceptions
ExceptionDescription
DataExceptionCount bytes could not be read. The DataException.DataRead property contains any data received before the failure occurred.
Remarks
If a DataException is thrown, the DataException.DataRead property contains any data received prior to the exception.
